Weather...

This is an outdoor wedding, what is the plan for inclement weather?

We will be monitoring the weather as the date approaches and if mother nature does not cooperate, the ceremony will take place at our reception hall.

RSVP ?'s

Yes, you can RSVP early.

No, you can not bring people that are not listed on your invitation.

Yes, kids are welcome [if they are listed on invite]. 

Yes, we will have hotel block available. Give it a little more time for us to get that scheduled and we will update the website. 

RSVP Deadline is March 18th, 2024. 

Required attire?

While we want everyone to be comfortable, please dress in summer semi-formal, kind of casual for our wedding. 

Women examples:  sundresses, cocktail dresses, formal jumpsuits, etc.   

Men examples:  dress pants, button downs, polo shirts, etc.

Let's stay away from white dresses and summer shorts. Thanks!

Parking Spots

Yes, parking spots are available at the Richard Bong State Park; however, the state park requires an entrance sticker. We are providing transportation from the hotel to ceremony, from the reception to ceremony, and then from the ceremony to reception and back to the hotel at the end of the night. This will allow for you to park either at the hotel or at the Burlington Tap and Smokehouse and leave your car there starting at 3:00pm. The transportation will be available for all guests to utilize for the whole afternoon and night. 

Drinks, Food, & Dance

The bar will be open from 5:00pm - 9:00pm. After the 9 o'clock hour, all drinks will be available for purchase by all guests. 

Dinner will be a buffet of BBQ food. 

Midnight snacks will be available. 

Dance the night away! We have the reception hall for the whole night and are not required to leave at a specific time, so bring your best shoes and dance the night away!

Photos...

Can I take photos? 

No, not during the ceremony. We will have a professional photographer during this time. 

Yes, during the reception, you can take as many photos as you want. Please make sure that all persons within the photo will want to be posted on social media, before you post the photo. 

Registry...

You are not required to provide a gift. Your attendance at our wedding is plenty! 

Plus Max really hates getting gifts from people, but Emily loves it.
